Days of Week – SUNday

Happy SUN-day everyone!

Seriously, one of my favourite days of the week! (Venus, only 5 days away from writing your wonderful post ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyway, who doesn’t like the sun and some vitamin D? Especially with this Vancouver weather we have been having lately.

But I am sure he is peeking his head out soon! As he did yesterday, even just for a few moments.

Why he? Well the moon, I associate more, and others do as well, to feminine energy. Luna ๐Ÿ™‚

The sun, he’s badass. Real badass. Like flaming balls of fires, badass with a portal inside! Badass. And by badass, I mean good ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyway, one of the things I do practice is Sun Gazing.

A technique that adheres to STRICT SUN TIMES, and a STRICT schedule to be followed as well.ย THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! IF THE PROPER TIMES ARE NOT FOLLOWED EYES CAN BE DAMAGED BY THE UV RAYS FROM THE SUN.

Okay, now that that’s over with, let’s crack on shall we? Disclaimer and these are my personal results and findings only.

Anyway, I am not even going to type out another article on the How To’s, because I wanted to share with you, what I share with my close friends and peeps. The article below that breaks it down completely, according to your region and safe times.

Basically, you work your way up, with small increments, during safe times. And there is a schedule you follow. I encourage you to follow what it says in the article, strictly. As I did, if this practice calls to you.

This is the article I share:

http://www.collective-evolution.com/2014/07/10/sun-gazing-why-you-should-be-doing-it/

Here are the benefits, listed in this article:

  • Relief of stress and tension
  • Increased energy
  • Boosts production of the feel good hormones serotonin and melatonin
  • Improved eyesight
  • Reduces hunger pains โ€“body is completely nourished by the sun (Some people claim to have been able to take part in this practice and not eat anything during the entire process which is usually about 9 or 10 months)
  • Stimulation of the pineal gland
  • Increased size of pineal gland
  • Releasing of internal blockages
  • Increased human potential

I think we all appreciate the sun and all it has to offer, not only for our Planet but for our moods, the way it feels on our skin, the photosynthesis of the plant and animal kingdoms. The exchange of light, entering in and out, through the black holes of our eyes.

This here — “Reduces hunger pains โ€“body is completely nourished by the sun.” That’s what happened to me. In the study, they talk about how people, “The number of people who reported a โ€œdecreased need for solid foodโ€ was approximately equal to the number of people who reported, โ€œno significant change in the need for food.โ€ Only 1 person in the study reported an increased need for food.”

Well for me, I noticed the decreased need for solid food, because (my opinion only and finds vary as you see) but I felt like I was being fed at a CELLULAR level. I went into with no intention of wanting to loose weight, or decrease my appetite. I F**KING LOVE FOOD, and shakes and CHOCOLATE!

So I didn’t really know what to expect going into it, just that I wanted to try it for myself. And see my OWN results. So for me, even after I think a month? I noticed an increase in energy levels, body feeling COMPLETELY NOURISHED by the SUN (like a plant!) and just f**king amazing as usual! I felt connected to the sun, and thanked it during our specific times, set in above article. I even just say hi to it when I can, raise the PALMS OF MY HAND, in the air and salute him!

I want to read to you, what a brilliant writer/poet read to me just yesterday. And isn’t it so ‘synchronistic’ that the paragraph she read to me, had to do with the sun? Oh Cosmos, how comical you are and how I love thee!

Here is what she read to me, an excerpt from the book: The Anthropology of Turquoise, by Ellen Meloy. But wait, before you read this, like me, make sure you’re not rushed, or feel rushed. Have a cup of tea in hand and sip this up, it’s that good. Did you get your tea ready, if not, come back for this…are you ready now? Okay here it is:

For astronomers in India color was the domain of the deity Surya, the SUN and the single ruler light. Surya controlled eight celestial bodies, each emitting a pure color to the earth. With each color came a person’s destiny. Over two thousand years ago the Greeks believed that rays of light shot out from our eyes to the object beheld; our inner fire, conspiring with daylight, illuminated an external world. Another Greek emanation theory send the rays in the opposite direction – tiny husks, or replicas, of the object entered the eyes through a “visual spirit” that flowed back and forth between object and beholder. Proof of the husks called simulacra, could be seen in someone else’s dark, glassy pupil, an eye that reflected the image of a mountain or passing clouds or your own face.ย

Are we not but mirrors of one another?

Reflections of mountains, greatness, and giants of all shapes and sizes…

I remember back in High School, we would take a plain old TIN Can and poke a hole in it. Then in the DARK ROOM, where no light passes through except a red, we set the piece of photo paper, and close the lid. And then covered the hole. Then we ventured out into the playground and found an object we liked. From there, we held the TIN CAN steady, and removed the tape. When we did, the Rays of light and color would bounce off the sheet of photo paper found inside. And with a set time, we would then close the tape to allow no light to enter. As we created ‘the replica’ as stated above.

We would then run back to the dark room to process our images. Through the liquid we dipped our paper in, and red light permitted. Behold! An image was found! Tis’ the magic of light and darkness, working together in conduction with … the spectrum we call a rainbow. How amazing is that! A tin can and photo-paper, and we can create images! My question to you is…are there other colors ready to be discovered? That haven’t been discovered yet…

So what was I talking about again?…Oh right, THE SUN!

I request the sun to show his pretty face more often and that we love him and would love to see more of him! ๐Ÿ™‚

Imagine, how that would be if the people of Vancouver did that more…I would reckon…more SUNNY days ๐Ÿ˜‰ I do, love the rain as well. And snow. But that’s just me, and I’m an optimist ๐Ÿ™‚

So, I’ll just leave it at that, as I too, am heading out to enjoy SUN-day! As the quote says:

Oh, but I believe ๐Ÿ™‚ Alright…

So happy SUNday everyone!

A time for REJUVENATION, REGENERATION, RELAXATION, and REFLECTION.

In-joy!

With regards,

Pam

Picture taken by me! In backyard! How much fun is it! To play in the cosmos, of Earth and all its creatures!
